Organization Solarus is a rapidly growing company with its own unique patented technology in the field of hybrid solar systems. The Solarus solar collectors generate both electricity and thermal energy. The company is responsible for its own R&D, product development, production, sales, distribution and after sales service. Two sales channels are used, installers/distributors on the one hand and own projects on the other. Our partners, both EU and non--‐EU with a current focus on South--‐Africa, Middle East and India, are targeting at medium and large energy consumers. The headquarters of the by origin Swedish company are located in Venlo, the Netherlands, since January 2015. Due to a rapid growth of clients we are looking for a technical project leader to enforce our project team.
Job description You are part of a project team which consists of R&D and product developers, project managers and sales engineers. You will have the following duties:
You are in charge of installation of hybrid solar systems projects.
You are working together with local installers in different sectors and markets.
Supporting Sales department by dimensioning projects and
Evaluate invoices of (international) installers and distributors
Supporting project managers with realizing complex projects
Making a project plan (including drawings) and take care of budget, planning and progress File all project documents in our intern system
Responsible for after sales after project realization
Critical and analytical mindset
Working both at office in Venlo and on--‐site abroad
Graduated in higher education (Master or PhD) with a degree in (mechanical) engineering, warm water techniques, technical business sciences
At least 5 and 7 years of work experience as a project manager in a technical (installation) environment
Solid knowledge in HVAC systems, heating, cooling, piping and plumbing
Solid knowledge in energy systems, energy consumption of building and ability to propose energy saving solutions
Knowledge and experience of energy modelling tools
Experience with leading several projects at the same time
Experience in conducting feasibility study
Fluency in English both in writing and speech is mandatory
Affinity with the installation and solar energy sector
Knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred
